2 months out…

Its been a little more than 2 months since I left the Aboriginal Curatorial Collective (ACC-CCA) and things have been going really well for me as an independent. A large amount of people still view me as being the lead of the ACC-CCA as it has been a large part of my life for a long time. I am making this comment to promote my departure while showing respect towards ACC-CCA board and staff.

My replacement Camille Georgeson-Usher is an amazing person who brings insight, respect and dedication into everything she pursues. We have worked together in many capacities to untangle my connections to ACC-CCA as I had embedded myself within the organization and leaving has been complicated and taken time transferring things.

I want to thank the ACC-CCA board of directors John G Hampton, Tarah Hogue, Logan MacDonald, Erin Sutherland, Naomi J, Rhéanne Chartrand, Dayna Danger, Léuli Eshraghi, Lori Beavis, Kablusiak Nasogaluak-Carpenter & Adam Martin for their patience during this time and a really big thanks to Quill Christie-Peters, Camille Larivée and Camille Georgeson-Usher for bringing renewed energy, talent and awesomeness into the ACC-CCA. I am very happy to see so man amazing people coming together to support this organization as it has a very bright future.
