Blemmyae is a bizarre mythological character that has appeared in many documentations and literature throughout history. The reference this multiple is making is not the legendary myth but instead to the 1980’s pop culture reference to Monster in my Pocket and to the continued use of the character by artists as they create. I chose this creature as my first multiples sculpt as it represents all the hard work of other and my entrance into the sub-community of little rubber guys.
