Junko has been working as a multiples artist conducting performance art and leaving objects in public places for the past two years.

His current series “Hello” pushes the boundaries of personal space and comfort zones within male social structures. He does this by placing a business card sized image of his face into a public urinal. This engagement on a one-on-one level is unexpected and often unwanted. The unsettling experience that Junko creates when a man finds a grinning face looking up at him as he uses the urinal is only heightened when he leaves the washroom to find the same face staring at him outside of the washroom.
